Itinerary

Dates and prices

Arrival - Reykjavik - Northern Lights

Northern Lights

From Keflavik Airport, a shuttle transfer will take you into the city and to your hotel. Depending on your flight schedule, we can arrange an exciting whale-watching tour or a guided food walk. The food walk is a fantastic way to sample delicious Icelandic delicacies while also exploring the city, getting a feel for its layout, and familiarizing yourself with key landmarks.

In the evening, you will be picked up for a tour outside of Reykjavik. Far from the glow of the city lights, we hunt for the elusive Aurora Borealis – known as the Northern Lights. Together, we will search for these magnificent auroras. On a clear night, we may be lucky enough to see the Northern Lights swirling in a wild and carefree dance across the sky in dramatic shapes, colors, patterns, and sizes. (We cannot guarantee sightings even if the tour is operated. In these cases, we offer our customers a second tour free of charge).

The Golden Circle: Þingvellir - Geysir - Gullfoss

Geyser in winter

Explore the Golden Circle, highlighting the country’s natural wonders. Start with a visit to Fridheimar Greenhouse, a sustainable farm powered by geothermal energy, where you’ll learn about eco-friendly farming and taste locally-grown tomatoes.

Next, witness the power of Strokkur geyser in the Geysir Geothermal Area, erupting every few minutes amidst bubbling hot springs and steaming vents. Then, marvel at the beauty of Gullfoss waterfall as water cascades dramatically into a deep canyon, often creating stunning rainbows.

Finally, explore Thingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where you can walk through the rift valley created by the drifting North American and Eurasian tectonic plates while learning about Iceland’s cultural heritage as the birthplace of the world’s first democratic parliament.
