Today we will explore the wonders of the Golden Circle. We start with a visit to the Thingvellir National Park and UNESCO World Heritage Site. This special site is home to the oldest existing national parliament in the world, the Althingi which played a major role in the history of Iceland. During our stroll through the park, we will see countless crevices that bear witness to the drifting apart of the North American and Eurasian continental plates.

Our next stop is the mighty waterfall Gullfoss, also known as the Golden Falls, which is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the country. You will also get to explore the active geothermal area of Haukadalur which contains the most active geyser Strokkur, which eruptes hot water up to 80 ft into the sky every 5-10 minutes.

Next, we are going to have an early dinner experience at the charming Ingolfsskali Viking Restaurant. Enjoy an authentic Icelandic holiday dinner transporting you back to an era where nature served as the primary inspiration. After dinner, we will hunt for the Northern Lights out at the Faxafloi Bay where we might get the perfect picture of the majestic Northern Lights and the City.
