The comfortable XX10 campervan: This versatile van is ideal for 2 adults and 2 accompanying children. Thanks to its comprehensive equipment and well thought-out design, a comfortable camping vacation can be combined with driving pleasure. The campervans in the XX10 category have four-wheel drive, but are not permitted on all highland routes in Iceland.
The XX10 Camper offers space for up to 4 adults, whereby an occupancy of max. 2 adults and 2 accompanying children is recommended. Vehicles in this category correspond to the Mercedes-Benz Campstar model or similar and have comparable high-quality equipment with an attractive design.
The camper has swivel front seats with which you can quickly turn the kitchenette into a dining area with a fold-out table. The sofa converts into a double bed in a few simple steps. The tent roof can be raised and lowered manually and offers a slightly smaller sleeping area for 2 children, for example. The tailgate with separately opening rear window and the right (rear) side door open manually.

The camper has four-wheel drive, but driving on highland routes is only permitted to a limited extent. It is permitted to drive on Kjölur (No. 35), Kaldidalur (No. 550) and the Landmannalaugar highland route (No. 208) up to the campsite, without fords. For all other highland routes, such as Sprengisandur (No. F26), a four-wheel drive camper such as the X-Pickup Camper is required.
The minimum rental age is 23 years. A driving license is required and should have been in the driver's possession for at least 1 year. The motorhome can only be left at the Asbru station near Keflavik Airport during opening hours from 08 am to 6:30 pm. When the motorhome is returned, a mandatory acceptance fee will apply.
The motorhome can be rented flexibly according to the desired travel duration (minimum rental period 7 days).
No water tank is available in the Marco Polo Camper until the end of May.
