Deap Sea fishing in Sudureyri
Length of stay: 9 days. Group size: 2-50 persons
Our guests have 20kg extra luggage allowance on flights booked by IPT.
Arrival in Iceland on Tuesday. Stay in the Westfjords for fishing Wednesday to Wednesday. Departure from Iceland on Thursday. Our guests can take with them 20kg of fish back home. The fish is deep-frozen and packed in a local fish factory. Each fish pack is handed out in thermo bags for safer transfer.
Arrival day: Tuesday
Arrival in Keflavik airport - transfer to your hotel in Hafnarfjordur (20 min from Reykjavik). Depending on arrival time: optional day excursions to Blue Lagoon, Reykjavik, whale watching or other.
Day 1: Domestic flight to the Westfjords
Breakfast in the hotel and transfer to the domestic airport. Flight to the Westfjords, approximately 45 min. Arrival in Isafjordur and transfer to Sudureyri where you will be greeted by the fishing guide. He will show you the boat and the house - and the best spots to fish. Our fishing guides and our service staff is available for you during the whole stay.
Day 1-8: Sudureyri Big Fishing
Sudureyri is a nice little Village by the fjord "Sugandafjordur". In the village there is a small shop, a swimming pool, a restaurant, a fish factory and a harbor. Here you can enjoy fishing at whatever time you like. The Icelandic summer nights are very short and the daylight stretches long into the night during this time of year due to the northerly location.
Day 8: Domestic flight back to Reykjavik
Transfer from Sudureyri to Isafjordur domestic airport and flight back to Reykjavik in the morning. When arriving in Reykjavik our staff will meet you and take you back to the hotel in Hafnarfjordur.
Day 9: Departure day
